Systems Deployment Analyst​/Deployment Engineer

6 month contract with likely extension upon good performance

Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site in Salisbury, NC

We are seeking a hands‑on Systems Deployment Analyst to support the deployment, integration, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise retail and POS technology platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across infrastructure, applications, deployments, and technical problem‑solving in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with engineering, QA, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver hardware and software solutions that support critical business operations.

• Lead and coordinate hardware and software deployment activities across multiple systems and environments
• Support enterprise POS platforms including NCR POS EX and NCR Emerald
• Translate business and operational needs into technical requirements and deployment plans
• Partner with engineers and developers to support integrations, configuration changes, and solution improvements
• Participate in solution testing, QA validation, and production rollouts
• Manage deployment schedules, rollout sequencing, and implementation activities
• Support wireless Android-based applications and connected systems
• Perform troubleshooting and analysis using SQL, APIs, and batch scripting
• Work within lab environments to validate hardware and software functionality prior to deployment
• Independently manage small to mid-sized projects from planning through execution

• 3–5 years of experience in systems support, deployments, infrastructure, or technical operations
• Experience with NCR POS EX (2.0) and/or NCR Emerald preferred
• Strong understanding of deployment processes and operational support
• Experience working with SQL and APIs
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and project coordination abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable supporting both software and hardware environments

• POS technology or retail industry experience
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Exposure to systems integration and release management
• Lab or hardware testing experience
