Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 1st Shift
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grinder Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating grinding equipment, maintaining clean material flow, preventing contamination, and supporting efficient production. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.
- Operate and maintain assigned grinding equipment safely and efficiently
- Keep hoppers filled with the correct materials to support continuous production
- Perform magnet inspections each shift and document debris levels
- Cut bale straps using required personal protective equipment (full face shield and gloves)
- Remove and properly dispose of all wire strapping
- Inspect scrap materials for contamination, including wood, plastic, metal, glass, and other foreign materials
- Identify and report nonconforming products, materials, or process issues
- Stop or control production processes that may result in defective products until corrected
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental policies
- Support ISO 9001 standards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Ability to lift heavy materials throughout the shift

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience operating grinding equipment or similar industrial machinery
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and PPE requirements
