Our client in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 24‑day assignment starting Jul 27, 2026. This role involves shift hours typically beginning at 6:45a with varying end times, focusing on diverse cases including general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, and endoscopy. The Anesthetist will not perform spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, or fiber optics, as those will be conducted by an MDA.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Provide anesthesia for a wide range of cases including General Surgery, Obstetrics and C Sections, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, GI, Urology, Pediatrics ENT 2+, and Robotics.
- Work collaboratively with the MDA, who will conduct procedures such as spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, and fiber optics.
- Adhere to a schedule with OR arrival time at 6:45a, case start time at 7:00a, and end times varying between 3:00p, 5:00p, 7:00p, or 7:00a.
