As a CRNA at Novant Health’s Rowan Medical Center you’ll be trusted to deliver expert, independent anesthesia care across a variety of procedures and patient needs. From routine surgeries to complex cases, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.
This role is ideal for experienced CRNAs or recent CRNA program graduates looking to work at the top of their profession within a high‑performing, collaborative team.

- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populations
- Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non‑surgical procedures
- Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
- Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status
- Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges
- Float between sites based on staffing needs and patient volume
- Education: BSN, MSN, DNP, and/or graduate diploma level certification required. Graduate from both an Accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA) as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and recognized by the state of practice as a CRNA. Must meet minimum continuing education requirements every four years of the NBCRNA, required.
- Experience: Previous experience is not necessary. Four to six week orientation period for new graduates (working with preceptor) is required. Orientation period for experienced providers will depend on previous experience and clinical skills.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Current CRNA endorsement in appropriate state, required. NBCRNA certification, required. ACLS certification within NH policy, required. BLS certification within NH policy, required. PALS certification within NH policy, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment.
- Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic plan of care suitable to patient age.
- Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians.
