About the role
  • CBH of NC is looking for a reliable and qualified LPN's (Licensed Practical Nurse) to care for individuals at the Rowan County Detention Center.
What you'll do
  • Provide direct patient care to inmates
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Collect vital signs, lab specimens, and patient health data
  • Support sick call and assist providers with procedures
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate MAR documentation
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes
  • Conduct rounds and document patient progress
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Maintain medication security, including narcotics accountability
  • Assist with patient transfers and required reporting
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state
  • Strong understanding of nursing care principles
  • Ability to recognize signs of mental illness, emotional disturbances, or substance dependency
  • Proficient in phlebotomy and administering PPD tests
