- Hours/Week: Flexibility based on site need
- Employment Type: Contract (Locum)
- Licenses/Certifications: Active NC License, NC DEA, Board Certification (Family NP or PA Certification), BLS
- Experience: Minimum 12 months in Urgent Care or similar settings; no new grads
- Pay Rate: $1.00/hr (standard rate for locum coverage; details to be clarified upon onboarding)

- Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) in a high-volume setting
- Manage all cases independently as the sole provider, including minor procedures like lac repairs and ear irrigations
- Document visits accurately in Epic EMR system after training
- Maintain positive rapport with support staff and patients
- Follow established clinical protocols and quality standards
- Participate in mandatory training sessions on scheduled Wednesdays
Required:
- Active North Carolina medical license and DEA registration
- Board-certified or eligible in Family Medicine NP or PA credential
- Minimum 12 months recent experience in urgent care or comparable setting
- Proficiency with Epic EMR software
- Strong clinical skills handling both adult and pediatric patients
- Excellent soft skills, communication, and patient care attitude
- Experience with minor procedures (e.g., lac repairs)
- Ability to see or treat a minimum patient volume (average 45 PPD)
- Ability to participate in scheduled training sessions
This assignment is with a leading urgent care in Salisbury, NC, focused on delivering fast, high-quality healthcare in a community setting. Providers will work independently, managing diverse cases for patients of all ages, with a supportive team and scheduled onboarding to ensure seamless integration.
Additional Information:
- Provider must be local and available to start on 07/17/2026
- Limited mileage reimbursement available (up to 60 miles roundtrip)
- No travel or lodging reimbursement
- Must pass clinical screening and EMR training before first shift
