Must have:
- We require a bachelors degree in engineering or a quality-related discipline; a masters degree is preferred.
- We are looking for 5–8 years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems, including at least 2–3 years leading quality management systems.
- We need strong expertise in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- We value proven experience with internal and supplier audits.
- We prefer a data‑driven mindset, with strong Excel or Sheets skills and familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Preferred certifications include CQE, CQA, Lead Auditor, or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.
- We require experience building a QMS in a startup environment, either directly as a lead or indirectly as a co‑lead or team partner.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a solid QMS foundation aligned with our global QMS framework and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Own our quality policy and measurable quality objectives, monitor performance, and drive corrective action when needed.
- Lead management review activities to support data‑based decisions and maintain compliance visibility.
- Plan and run internal audits across engineering, operations, product management, and customer support.
- Serve as the main liaison with external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory partners.
- Track nonconformities, corrective actions, and risk mitigations through to closure.
- Champion structured problem‑solving using methods such as 8D, RCA, FMEA, DMAIC, or similar tools.
- Manage the full lifecycle of QMS documentation, including processes, SOPs, work instructions, and quality records.
- Partner with system owners to maintain traceability and version control within our document control tools.
- Integrate voice of customer input into QMS improvements and product roadmaps.
- Lead quality representation in major incident reviews and customer‑impacting events.
- Monitor quality KPIs and present clear insights to executive leadership.
- Develop and deliver ISO 9001:2015 and QMS awareness training for all functions, starting with new employee orientation.
- Help build a proactive quality culture where quality is owned by everyone.
We are seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to help shape a quality management system that is fast, secure, and scalable at our onsite location. This is a day‑shift, Monday‑to‑Friday role. We are looking for someone who can work closely with site leadership, challenge complacency, and keep our teams focused on practical, value‑adding quality practices while supporting ISO 9001:2015 expectations and customer needs.
