Parts Counter Associate

James River Equipment in Salisbury, NC seeks a Parts Sales Specialist to provide excellent customer service and support parts sales operations.

This position is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday coverage.

• Greet customers and collaborate on parts needs in person, by phone, and online.
• Process orders and complete sales.
• Place machine down orders and stock orders as requested.
• Process parts requests for internal and external customers.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays and participate in cycle counts and physical inventory when scheduled.

• Enjoy being customer-facing, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and excellent attendance.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and strong customer service skills.
• Recent computer use with experience in dealership software and parts/inventory systems is a plus.
• Ability to handle a high volume of customer inquiries with timely follow‑up and not afraid to answer the phone.
