Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to deter unauthorized activity;
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and authorization; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and follow post orders;
Document patrols, observations, incidents, and communications; coordinate with site personnel and public emergency responders as directed
