Job Shift: First Shift

The Case Aide provides essential technical and administrative support to case managers and employment specialists within the resettlement site agency. This role focuses on ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of services by assisting with tasks such as filing, research, documentation, and other duties as assigned by the Refugee Services Coordinator. The Case Aide plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in maintaining compliance with funder and grantor reporting requirements while supporting the overall operations of the refugee resettlement program.

This is an in-person Part-Time PRN role, 5-10 hours a week. Mostly Monday-Friday. Located in Salisbury, NC

Essential Functions
  • Assist case managers with administrative tasks, data entry, reports, and referrals to local government and partner agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with funder and grantor reporting requirements by maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Perform other technical and administrative duties as assigned by the Refugee Services Coordinator to support program operations.
  • Provide logistical support to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of services within the resettlement site agency.
  • Qualifications Education

    High School Diploma or equivalent or Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, or relevant degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience

    Previous work experience and interest in refugee resettlement or other direct social services are desired.

    Specific skills/abilities

    Competent with computers; familiar with Microsoft Office. Strong sense of teamwork required. Comfortable working with a multi-cultural team. Can work independently and with minimal supervision. Must demonstrate maturity, flexibility, creativity, initiative, organizational skills, the ability to work effectively with others, and the ability to think systemically. Must transport clients in a personal vehicle. Must have reliable transportation.

    Specialized knowledge, licenses, etc.

    Have a valid driver’s license with vehicle insurance.

    Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • Usual office conditions apply.
  • Ambulatory throughout locations.
