Job SummaryWe are currently hiring a Receiving Crew Leader at our Salisbury, North Carolina Distribution Center. This full‑time Crew Leader – Receiving & Packaging role leads safe and accurate receiving and packaging activities within the Regional Distribution Center.
Responsibilities- Schedule workload assignments and redirect personnel in receiving and packaging areas based on daily priorities.
- Train department personnel.
- Provide assertive, timely communication to team members and leadership regarding safety, teamwork, and quality.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to meet personal and company objectives.
- Communicate with Purchasing and Inventory Control Administrator regarding receiving, inventory, or packaging discrepancies.
- Conduct inventory cycle counting using powered industrial equipment and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Verify accuracy of receipt and packaging of products with the Quality Control Department.
- Maintain records including maintenance logs on equipment, labor records, inventory transactions, personnel time records, and other required records.
Candidates must have at least a High School diploma or GED and two (2) years of general knowledge of distribution or manufacturing operations. They must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment.
Benefits & CompensationFull-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). No weekends or holidays. Paid Time Off includes 18 days available during the first year. Day 1 benefits: medical, dental, and vision coverage. Seven paid holidays. The company contributes 6% to a 401(k) with immediate vesting.
