Now Hiring a Receiver position at our Salisbury, North Carolina distribution center. This is a full-time position of 40 hours, working Monday through Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM). No weekends or holidays! Paid Time Off includes 18 days available during your first year. Imperial offers Day 1 benefits including medical, dental, and vision. There are seven paid holidays, and the company contributes 6% to a 401K with immediate vesting.

Responsibilities- As part of the warehouse associate team, receive all inbound goods and supplies arriving at the Distribution Center and safely perform stock movements and put-away functions.
- Ensure accuracy of packing lists and purchase order receipts; provide backup in the absence of the Receiving/Packaging Coordinator.
- Receive inbound materials from vendors and customers using radio frequency scanners and data entry; perform purchase order receipt and stock movement to bring stock into inventory.
- Produce unit packaging tickets and complete lot registration; unload and stage material within the receiving area using powered industrial equipment.
- Put products away in rack locations; note damaged product information on carrier paperwork prior to unloading goods.
- Enter purchase order and packing list information into the system; set up packaging stations from receiving staging or storage locations.
- Collaborate with the Receiving Crew Leader or Coordinator on receipts, carrier, or supplier variances; assist with inventory cycle counting and investigations related to receipt variances.
- Notify Purchasing and Quality Assurance personnel about quality and damaged goods variations.
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent; one year of general knowledge of distribution/manufacturing operations.
- Powered Industrial Equipment Certification required or to be obtained within 30 days after accepting the position.
- Average math skills; effective reading and writing skills; problem-solving ability; attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to spend most of the time standing and walking in a warehouse environment; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
