Overview
We are recruiting for a Residential Team Leader to join our Homes in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Our homes cater for Children aged 7 – 14 on admission. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible. Hours
On average, 39 hours a week, which typically includes two sleep-ins per week, for which you receive an additional £50 payment per sleep-in.
Responsibilities- Support our young person to learn healthy routines, take them to appointments, help with schooling, complete household tasks, and update current electronic records.
- As a team leader, support the leadership team in developing newer members of the team, take part in supervision and career development.
- Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children are safe, well-parented, and encouraged to flourish.
- 30 days (22 days plus 8 bank holidays) annual leave allowance

- Good written and IT skills
- Able to communicate with children, colleagues, and external customers

- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Be calm in crisis situations and follow a shift leader's lead
- QCF Level 3/4 in Children and Young People is essential
- Be committed to ongoing professional development and achieve the Level 4 diploma in Children and Young People
