Overview

We are recruiting for a Residential Team Leader to join our Homes in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Our homes cater for Children aged 7 – 14 on admission. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible. Hours

On average, 39 hours a week, which typically includes two sleep-ins per week, for which you receive an additional £50 payment per sleep-in.

Responsibilities
  • Support our young person to learn healthy routines, take them to appointments, help with schooling, complete household tasks, and update current electronic records.
  • As a team leader, support the leadership team in developing newer members of the team, take part in supervision and career development.
  • Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children are safe, well-parented, and encouraged to flourish.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Must have a Full UK Driving license
  • Good written and IT skills
  • Able to communicate with children, colleagues, and external customers
  • Able to actively listen to others
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Be calm in crisis situations and follow a shift leader's lead
  • QCF Level 3/4 in Children and Young People is essential
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and achieve the Level 4 diploma in Children and Young People
