Mobile Plant Fitter

kolt recruitment are looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter for a reputable and growing company based in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated engineer to join a busy team, working both in the workshop and on customer sites, carrying out a wide range of plant and fleet maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out thorough plant examinations and inspections
• Plant maintenance, servicing and repair
• Hydraulic hose replacement
• Hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis
• On-site welding and fabrication
• Fitting green seatbelt beacon kits
• Track and undercarriage repairs and overhauls
• Machine and attachment overhauls
• Lorry loader / grab lorry crane repairs
• Tracker and immobiliser installation
• Camera system installation
• Crusher jaw replacement
• Fleet van servicing
• General wiring and electrical fault finding

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mobile plant fitter or similar role
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and mechanical systems
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
