Maintenance Assistant

TXM Recruit is currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to join a busy commercial maintenance project at a static MOD site in Royston. This role will involve assisting maintenance engineers across the site.

This is a temp-to-perm position with a permanent offer after 12 weeks. The role is suitable for someone seeking stability and long‑term career prospects.

• Salary: £13.56 per hour PAYE
• Hours:
  
  8:00a.m. – 4:00p.m., 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 12‑week contract, permanent after completion

Upon completion of the 12‑week contract you will receive a company vehicle and fuel card for the site, as well as a permanent contract.

• General reactive maintenance on the site
• Changing light bulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors or fixing shelves, patching plaster, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs
• Assisting various maintenance engineers on site
