Job Description
We are seeking a candidate for the Driver Assistant position. This role will assist the truck drivers with logistics. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a company truck to take supplies to farms.
Responsibilities- Assist with loading and unloading the trailer as necessary
- Ensure secure load before movement
- Clean and wash truck as necessary
- Report truck and equipment maintenance issues to supervisors
- All other duties as assigned
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to read and write legibly
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
- Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic math functions and skills
- Follow State and Federal laws, and company safety and biosecurity policies and programs
- Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Work around raw, live animal odors
