Work Schedule:
General Accountant related functions including accounts payable of vendor invoices, efforts to collect payment from customers for past-due invoices, general journal entries and month-end accounting related activities. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Essential Fuctions Statement(s)
Accounts Receivable
- Collections - email account statements to customers
- Follow-up and request payment on delinquent accounts via email and phone
- Generate customer invoices
- Process daily deposit with bank
Accounts Payable
- Setup of new vendor in system
- Posting invoices from freight forwarders for shipments to customers
- Pay vendors with credit card and apply the payment within the system
Other
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Year-end distribution of 1099s
Office Administration
- Breakroom and conference room management
Act as back-up for the following areas, to cover these positions when needed:
Customer billing of manufactured items
Month-end Close
- Balancing petty cash
- General ledger reconciliation
Other projects/tasks as assigned by management
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Experience:
1-3 years of experience
Computer
Skills:
Microsoft Office Applications
Business Central ERP preferred
