- Perform activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
- Invoice clients and new vendor entry
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
- Pay company expenses
- Complete and timely follow through of assigned tasks
- Communicate with vendors, customers and coworkers in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently
- Other assignments and projects as needed
- Prepares, posts, verifies and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
- Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment
- Creates statements regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
- Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Office Manger and other staff
- Collaborates with the Office Manager to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic(at least bi-monthly) basis.
- Copies, files and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed
- Relays changes of information to appropriate employees
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience with Quick Books preferred
- Attention to details

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including professional email and phone etiquette
