CV Resources has partnered with a well-established company in Salt Lake City that is looking to bring on a Staff Accountant to join their team!
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑driven Staff Accountant who brings strong tenure, a solid accounting foundation, and exposure to professional services environments.
Key Responsibilities- Own full-cycle general ledger (GL) accounting
, including journal entries, accruals, and month‑end close activities. - Perform detailed balance sheet and bank reconciliations
, resolving discrepancies proactively. - Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Assist with financial reporting
, providing variance analysis and insights to management. - Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support AP‑related GL entries
, invoice coding accuracy, and expense reconciliation. - Collaborate with external auditors by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Exposure to general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial statements and accounts payable
