ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Nickerson Company, a 102 year old, Salt Lake City based, wholesale distribution company is seeking an experienced and well qualified person for a full time front office position responsible for accounts payable processing, answering phones and administrative assistant to office manager, and sales staff.
Prior payroll experience is helpful.
Must have good knowledge and experience in accounting procedures, and proficient in Microsoft Suites and Excel .
Professional and personable people skills, with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities- Verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Processing payments to vendors
- Reconciling accounts payable statements
- Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues
- Generating periodic reports related to accounts payable
- Responding to inquiries from vendors and internal staff

- General assistance to sales staff
Must have prior experience with accounts payable and general administrative assistant duties with the flexibility required to work in a small business environment.
