Who We Are Looking for and What You Will Do as an Accounting Manager

Rise Wellness, a subsidiary of USANA Health Sciences Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position leads accounting processes, strengthens internal controls, and drives continuous improvement.

* Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes

* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal controls

* Ensure account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time

* Support internal and external audit processes

* Supervise and support employees by performing periodic reviews and supporting their professional development

* Coordinate Accounting and non-accounting personnel to ensure the accurate and timely closing of fiscal periods

* Continuously work to identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the department

What You Will Need

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related degree required

* CPA certification preferred

* 5+ years of accounting experience, managing accounting operations, preferably in a public company

* Experience with large ERP platforms, Oracle ERP preferred

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

* Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and strong communication skills

* Educated use of GAAP in analyzing and recording financial information

* Insight, expertise and attention to detail in assigned function

* Ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines and make sound business decisions

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Position is hybrid/in-office located in Salt Lake City.
