Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk

$25.00 per hour (DOE) | Full-Time | In-Office
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company by managing a variety of accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including payment posting, reconciliations, deposits, and record maintenance across multiple divisions.
This position is best suited for someone with hands-on experience processing payments, reconciliations, deposits, or invoice-related accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager and partner with employees throughout the organization to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes.

- Strong data entry, math, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and general office technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindset.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- 1–2 years of recent A/R, A/P, bookkeeping or transactional accounting experience is required.
- Experience with payment posting, reconciliations, deposits and invoice processing strongly preferred.
- Excel assessment and 10-Key test required.
