Accountant Position

We are looking for an Accountant to join a team in a contract-to-permanent position. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations and plays an important role in maintaining accurate financial records across payables, receivables, and the general ledger. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling core accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor account activity to support efficient accounts payable operations.
• Oversee customer billing, cash application, and account follow-up to maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring transactions are properly recorded in the general ledger.
• Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to keep financial data accurate and up to date.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review accounting records for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal financial procedures.
• Support reporting needs by compiling financial information and helping resolve routine accounting issues.
