Due to the explosive growth experienced by our company, we are looking to add an additional accounting role in our Salt Lake City, Utah office to support this growth. The candidate will work in a highly collaborative environment and will work closely with the Corporate Controller and CFO.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with and support certain Division Managers with calculating labor rates, lease-vs-buy analysis, assist with bids as requested, and job estimate reviews
- Prepare and maintain a top-down division forecast to support accurate resource planning, workforce planning, project scheduling, and allocation decisions
- Review job schedules with Project Managers to ensure timely, complete billing that captures all associated costs
- Ensure all subcontractor costs are billed appropriately
- Help resolve AR/AP and vendor-related issues on behalf of the division
- Perform cost analysis to ensure proper accounting, invoices are billed correctly, and budgets are actively managed
- Review and analyze monthly divisional financial statements to ensure expenses are properly classified and compliant with US GAAP
- Prepare and support monthly WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting in partnership with Project Managers for job-level tracking and financial forecasting
- Manage the company's corporate card program (Finvari), including ordering new cards, processing approved limit increases, auditing monthly charges for policy compliance, and loading charges from the portal into Viewpoint
- Audit various transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards
- Perform other accounting responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- US GAAP, WIP, forecasting and financial controls experience
- Preferred experience with Vista Viewpoint
- Project based accounting experience
- Preferred CPA
