Job Summary
As an Automotive Warranty Administrator
, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner. You will ensure compliance with all manufacturer and company guidelines and play a vital role in optimizing warranty reimbursement and efficiency.
Accurately process warranty claims according to manufacturer and dealership policies.
Review repair orders to verify warranty coverage and documentation.
Submit claims to manufacturers and follow up on unpaid or rejected claims.
Reconcile warranty receivables and assist with auditing and reporting.
Maintain knowledge of current manufacturer warranty programs and changes.
Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure proper documentation.
Respond to manufacturer inquiries regarding warranty claims.
Keep detailed records of all warranty work and communications.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive warranty administration.
Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty guidelines (e.g., Ford, GM, Toyota, Dodge, Jeep, etc.).
Proficient with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertracketc.).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus.
Experience working in a high-volume dealership environment.
ASE or OEM certifications related to service or warranty administration.
