Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Duties for this position include:

• Performing office support tasks such as reviewing and entering voter and election data
• Answering and responding to routine election calls
• Assisting in the processing of by-mail ballots

Other duties may be assigned, which may include (but are not limited to):

• Testing, packing, and deploying election equipment
• Assisting with poll worker recruitment and training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have:

• Basic computer, typing, and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time (6+ hours)
• The ability to focus with strong attention to detail
• The ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended time periods
• The ability to switch between assigned tasks as necessary.

PAY RATE

$20.00/hour

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and may be offered overtime for an election cycle time period usually lasting 3-5 weeks. Working dates and times can vary based on any additional duties assigned.
