Role Summary

The Land Coordinator provides contract administration, title support, document management, and project coordination support to the Land and Legal Departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, land administrator, title specialist, or contract coordinator. The position assists with land agreements, title review, due diligence activities, contract tracking, and project record management for utility-scale renewable energy projects throughout the Unite d States.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the Company's operational and project development needs.

General Responsibilities Contract and Document Administration
  • Prepare, review, organize, and maintain land-related agreements and supporting documents, including option agreements, lease agreements, crossing agreements, encroachment permits, surface waivers, amendments, and other project documentation.
  • Track contract obligations, renewal dates, expiration dates, notices, and other critical project milestones.
  • Coordinate document execution, filing, recording, and record retention activities.
  • Maintain organized project files and support document management processes.
Title and Due Diligence Support
  • Assist the Land Director and Legal Department with title review, ownership research, title curative efforts, and document preparation.
  • Organize title reports, ownership records, surveys, legal descriptions, and other due diligence materials.
  • Coordinate with title companies, landowners, consultants, and internal stakeholders to obtain and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist with resolving title and property-related issues that support project development activities.
Land Administration and Project Coordination
  • Maintain land contract databases and track acreage, ownership information, contract status, and project milestones
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination
  • Partner with land, legal, development, and project teams to support renewable energy project development activities.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders regarding documentation, project status, and information requests.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, title companies, consultants, and vendors as needed.
Skill Requirements
  • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to three years of experience in a paralegal , legal assistant, land administration, contract administration, title, real estate, or related role.
  • Experience reviewing, organizing, maintaining, or managing legal, contract, title, real estate, or land-related documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
