The Community Programs Support Specialist assists in the operations, coordination, and volunteer management of the Community Education Center’s Conversation Partners program and supports the English as a Second Language public outreach initiatives. Working closely with full-time program managers, this student role plays a vital part in volunteer management, participant communication, administrative support, and data tracking.

Primary Responsibilities- Volunteer & Participant Management:
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and communicating with volunteers and participants in the Conversation Partners program. - ESL Outreach Support:
Help coordinate public outreach initiatives for English as a Second Language classes, including distributing program materials and engaging with community members. - Program Operations & Logistics:
Support setup, room arrangements, materials preparation, and teardown for Saturday morning sessions and weekday evening activities. - Administrative & Data Entry:
Maintain participant rosters, log volunteer hours, track attendance, and enter data into center databases.

- Must be workstudy eligible
- Ability to speak Spanish and English fluently
- Ability to work Saturday mornings and occasionally on afternoons and evenings during the week
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
