Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Admin Assistant to support a busy construction and engineering team in Salt Lake City, UT. This contract/temporary opportunity is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys keeping projects organized, coordinating with vendors, supporting documentation workflows, and helping project teams stay on schedule.
In this role, you will be an important part of a collaborative project environment where accuracy, communication, and follow-through matter. Key Responsibilities- Communicate project updates with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
- Submit approved project documentation and maintain accurate, organized records.
- Follow up with vendors regarding orders, documentation, timelines, and project needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and billing-related documentation.
- Maintain organized project files and provide general administrative support to the construction and engineering team.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook regularly to support daily office and project activities.
- Pay rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Salt Lake City, UT 84104.
- Support construction and engineering project teams with administrative coordination and documentation.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, billing support, and project records.
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to keep project information moving accurately.
- Maintain organized files and follow up on open items to support project progress.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative, office support, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on tasks.
- Comfortable working with vendors, project teams, and documentation-heavy processes.
- Administrative experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or a project-based technical environment.
- Experience assisting with purchase orders, invoicing, billing, or vendor documentation.
- Familiarity with project files, client documentation, and construction or engineering workflows.
