We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our OEM market segments across industries such as Automation, Robotics, Medical, Packaging, and Construction.
You’ll combine technical expertise with strong relationship‑building skills to grow our footprint and strengthen our position as a trusted industry leader in precision measurement and sensing solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and lead generation in related industry sectors.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers to ensure satisfaction and support continued business growth.
- Project Management: Lead development projects with internal teams such as R&D, Engineering, and Quality to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
- Contract Negotiation: Work with purchasing and key decision‑makers to negotiate and finalize profitable agreements.
- Data & Reporting: Review sales data, track forecasts, and provide clear reports to support planning and decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in sales and business development within industrial automation, sensors, or precision technology targeting OEM clients
- Knowledge of Gleeble or metallurgy preferred
- Proven success negotiating multi‑year contracts with large, global customers
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions and financial analysis
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Technical background in transducers, load cells, or sensors is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel at least 50%
- Salary range: $90,000-$125,000 annually
