About the RoleTalent Groups is partnering with a growing construction organization seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to support large scale data center construction projects in the Salt Lake City area.
This role will lead all Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across active construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, company, and client safety standards. The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will promote a strong safety culture focused on incident prevention, accountability, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across active construction projects
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and jobsite assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
- Deliver safety orientations and training programs including OSHA 10 and 30, confined space, excavation safety, and CPR/First Aid
- Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and jobsite safety performance
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action processes
- Track and report safety metrics, incidents, and trends
- Maintain OSHA documentation, employee training records, and compliance reporting
- Partner with project leadership and clients to support a strong safety first culture
- Support occasional travel as needed
- 5+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety leadership experience within construction environments
- Experience supporting heavy civil, underground utility, industrial, or mission critical construction projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 regulations
- Experience conducting safety training and incident investigations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in active construction environments and support flexible project schedules
- CHST Certification
- OSHA 500 Certification
- Data center or mission critical construction experience
- Experience with trenching, excavation, confined space, traffic control, and DOT compliance
