Construction Superintendent

Overview

Trueline’s client, a national leader in earth-retention and specialized sitework solutions, is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead field operations in the Salt Lake City, Utah area
. This individual will oversee project execution from foundation to finish, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget standards are consistently met—while mentoring teams and delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

• Lead and guide foremen and field crews to ensure safe, high-quality installation on commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Anticipate challenges and proactively implement cost-effective solutions without compromising standards.
• Oversee project schedules, documentation (daily logs, reports, change orders), subcontractor coordination, and client communications.
• Champion and enforce a strong safety culture—lead safety meetings, conduct audits, and support continuous improvement.
• Mentor foremen and team members to foster professional growth and promote operational excellence.

• 10+ years of civil/sitework construction experience, with at least 5 years in supervisory or leadership positions.
• Proven expertise in large-scale earthwork and site development for commercial projects.
• Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints, specs, contracts, and effectively setting grade.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Competency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Fieldwire, B2W, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Solid knowledge of OSHA standards, building codes, and construction best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making, managing multiple priorities under pressure.

• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• OSHA 30, Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or LEED AP credentials.

• Competitive salary of $110,000–$135,000
