Project Manager - Multifamily

Big-D Construction is looking for a Project Manager - Multifamily to join our team based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Essential Functions:

* Assumes accountability and ownership of the project

* Is responsible for project safety and environment programs

* Sets up project reporting procedures

* Understands and enforces contractual responsibilities, contract documents and dispute resolution

* Ensures timely project completion through effective project scheduling, timely delivery of materials and efficient management of material and document submittals / approvals

* Negotiates and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors their progress

* Negotiates, prepares, issues and executes change orders to subcontractors and prepares any revisions to original budget

* Prepares and issues monthly owner progress reports, schedules and cost reports

* Develops insurance compliance with site-specific quality control and safety plans

* Chairs and records project meetings

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred

* 5+ years construction-related experience in similar capacity

* Ground up multifamily experience preferred

* Knowledge of building and construction trades
