Assistant Superintendent - Mission Critical
Based in Salt Lake City, UT, this role supports high‑priority construction projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination.
- Represent the company in meetings and interface with all project stakeholders when the superintendent is unavailable.
- Work with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability.
- Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Work closely with city officials in requesting and coordinating applicable inspections, including initiating dialogue with officials from day one.
- Verify that subcontractors complete the assigned scope of work.
- Stay informed about changes in the industry.
- 7‑10+ years of experience on commercial construction and multi‑family projects.
- Leadership experience on mission‑critical projects.
- Knowledge of the local subcontractor market and industry practices.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Office, Procore, and Primavera P6.
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with project teams, customers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and employees at all levels.
- In-depth knowledge of construction practices, procedures, techniques, and applicable local, state, and federal building codes.
- Proficiency in reading work orders, budgets, change orders, safety standards, plans, specifications, shop drawings, blueprints, and CPM schedules.
- Understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Problem‑solving ability in varied and abstract situations with limited standardization.
