We’re partnered with a fast-growing company in the construction and data center infrastructure space that is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. This is a high-impact role supporting large-scale data center builds, with strong visibility and opportunity for advancement into senior leadership.
Position OverviewThe Project Manager will lead field-driven construction and installation projects from kickoff through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and on‑site execution—ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with strong field experience and the ability to operate in fast‑paced, construction environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full project lifecycle including budget, schedule, and resource planning
- Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication and issue resolution
- Oversee RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation
- Monitor field progress and support site teams to maintain schedules
- Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track
- Ensure alignment with project scope, client expectations, and quality standards
- Support trade coordination and job site readiness
- Drive cost control and overall project profitability
- Travel to active job sites as needed (25–50%)
- Large-scale data center construction projects
- Infrastructure installations including:
- Equipment racking systems
- Containment systems (data hall enclosures)
- Floor grid systems and related finishes
- Typical project timelines: 6–12 months
- 3–5+ years of construction project management or field coordination experience
- Strong background working in field‑based construction environments (required)
- Experience with GCs and subcontractor coordination
- Data center, commercial, or industrial project experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience managing RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Proactive, problem‑solving mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, construction‑driven environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
