We’re looking for a Director of Construction who doesn’t just manage projects, but orchestrates them like a conductor with a steel-toed baton. Someone who can walk onto a jobsite, read the rhythm of the build, and instantly know what needs to tighten, speed up, or elevate.

This is a senior leadership role for a construction professional who thrives in complexity, leads with clarity, and knows how to turn plans on paper into places people are proud to live, work, and gather in.

You’ll oversee multiple active projects across preconstruction, field execution, and closeout. Think of yourself as the bridge between strategy and dirt‑under‑the‑boots reality.

• Full oversight of construction operations from groundbreaking through turnover
• Leadership of Superintendents, Project Managers, and field teams across multiple sites
• Budget ownership, cost control, forecasting, and risk management
• Scheduling mastery across concurrent, fast‑moving builds
• Coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and key trade partners
• Implementation of consistent quality, safety, and performance standards
• Strategic input during preconstruction and project pursuit phases
• Continuous improvement of construction systems, processes, and team performance

You’ve been in the field long enough to know that no two builds behave the same, but you’ve also learned how to bring order to the chaos.

• 10+ years in commercial construction, with increasing leadership responsibility
• Proven success managing large‑scale or multi‑project portfolios
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and field logistics
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multimillion‑dollar budgets
• A leadership style that is firm, fair, and grounded in accountability
• Ability to communicate clearly across executives, clients, and boots‑on‑the‑ground teams
• Calm decision‑making when the schedule starts trying to write its own rules
