A highly respected Salt Lake City area commercial construction company, specializing in concrete structures and buildings, is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity with a well-established organization known for delivering high-quality projects and taking care of its people.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to develop budgets and bids.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful preconstruction planning.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor pricing, ensuring competitiveness and accuracy.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+years proven experience as an estimator in concrete construction.
- Strong knowledge of concrete structures, commercial projects, and construction methods.
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
