We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent for Commercial and Healthcare Construction to join our team. This position is an incredible opportunity to lead and manage large-scale construction projects in the Commercial and Healthcare sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning to the final handover, ensuring that each project is completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management including project planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Supervising and managing all onsite construction activities for commercial, healthcare, education, K-12, higher education, hospitality, industrial, multi-family, and large-scale projects.

Ensuring all construction activities align with the project plans and specifications.

Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.

Reviewing work progress on a daily basis and resolving any emerging issues.

Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Ensuring all safety guidelines are followed strictly at the construction site and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.

Conducting regular meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or issues.

Preparing and submitting project reports and ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in commercial and healthcare construction.

Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.

In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.

Strong understanding of construction project management, including experience with Hospital, Education, K-12, Higher Ed Construction, Commercial Office Construction, Hospitality, Industrial, Multi Family, and large projects.

Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to direct and coordinate the work of others.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.

A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Proficient in using construction management software and standard office software including MS Office.
