Project Estimator and Manager

The Project Estimator and Manager will support garage door projects by preparing accurate cost and time estimates for residential and commercial work and overseeing small to mid-size jobs from initiation through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project specifications and site conditions, creating detailed estimates, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and tracking budgets and timelines. The role involves collaborating closely with technicians and office staff to schedule work, monitor progress, and address changes or issues that arise on projects.

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Utah, United States, requiring regular presence at the Ogden location and occasional visits to customer sites.

• Candidates should possess strong Project Estimation and Construction Estimating skills for residential and commercial projects.
• Candidates should possess solid Cost Management and Budgeting skills to manage project expenses and maintain profitability.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Relevant experience in construction, building trades, or overhead doors is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work orders is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Comfort with basic computer tools for estimates, scheduling, and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to project sites as needed.
