Responsibilities
Theatre stage crew position working on lighting & set load in/out, as well as some basic scene shop work, and working on the run crew during performances.
Requirements- No fear of heights
- Able to follow directions well
- Able to troubleshoot & problem solve
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
- Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of higher education in theatre design, art, or performance or at least two (2) years practical experience.
- Basic working knowledge of back stage practices and some prior experience working in back stage environments.
- Some prior experience working in a theatrical scene shop.
- Some prior experience working in a theatrical lighting
