Position Summary

The Specialist II, Graphic Design is an integral part of the in‑house creative agency, responsible for producing compelling visual content and ensuring a cohesive brand presence across print, digital, and web platforms. This role works closely with the creative function to create the design and elevate the visual impact of marketing materials, event signage, displays, and publications. In collaboration with cross‑functional departments, this role is critical for maintaining the integrity of the Nightingale Education Group brand and delivering consistent, on‑brand messaging across all touchpoints.

and Responsibilities
  • Brand Strategy & Identity
    • Design marketing material for the college including print collateral, event signage, event displays and digital assets.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative solutions that align with visual themes, brand strategies and activation goals.
    • Ensure all visual content reflects institutional personality, positioning, and design standards.
    • Propose enhancements to brand guidelines and creative assets, ensuring consistency across channels while adapting to emerging needs and platforms.
  • Creative Asset Development
    • Design collateral according to briefs, campaigns, or other needs.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative reviews to contribute to concept development.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
    • Work independently and collaboratively, with the ability to take and implement creative direction.
    • Maintain a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality output.
    • Create scalable design solutions for use across functions, campaigns, and platforms.
  • Environment and Experience Design
    • Expert on production of print and editorial materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
    • Expert in company‑wide initiatives like office remodels and other environmental branding.
    • Participate in pre‑event walk‑throughs and relevant planning meetings.
    • Expert in Vendor‑Creative relations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Participate in training for functions to better understand brand guidelines and available resources.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Web Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Web Design, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, with a strong focus on InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Canva, Figma, or After Effects is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise.
Budgeted Hiring Range

$66,000–$78,000 USD

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
