NHRA continues to race forward with key initiatives, including a multiyear partnership with FOX Sports to televise NHRA events from the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, and the Pro Mod Drag Racing Series. FOX Sports networks aired more than 500 hours of programming throughout the year, highlighted by 20+ race-day shows, including eight on FOX’s national network, in addition to qualifying broadcasts throughout the weekend.

We seek safety personnel to assist at race events within the Northwest Division. The Division has racetracks located in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Canada. As a member of the Emergency Services Team, you will be an essential part of the guest experience. Your job will be to keep our fans, racers, and crew members safe and informed while maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere.
This entails weekday, evenings, and weekend work which can include long hours (12-14+) outside in extreme weather, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain fire/rescue and EMS response for fans, racers, and crew members throughout
- Respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively via vehicle or on foot
- Monitor designated areas alongside the racetrack and throughout the facility
- Ensure compliance with emergency services response protocols and procedures in a fast-paced racing environment
- Assist with crowd management and emergency evacuations as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and emergency responders during incidents
- Must be state certified firefighter and/or state certified EMT-basic (documentation required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, push, pull, run, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Due to the potential of operating a vehicle, you must be insurable under the NHRA insurance policy
- Must arrive on time and ready to work at shift start
- Must be flexible with meal periods
- Enforce all facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results
- Ability to read, follow, and understand verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, racers, crew members, and guests
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Must be able to handle sounds at a high volume
- Travel is required within the region - Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington
