Customer Service Representative – Part Time, Patient Registration

• Help patients check into the hospital
• Answer questions during registration
• Collect patient and insurance information accurately and quickly
• Listen compassionately and address patients’ fears, concerns, and questions
• Use computers and answer phones to intake information
• Input registration details across multiple programs and screens
• Coordinate registration around physician, nurse, and clinician check-ins
• Assist ill or worried patients and ease their anxiety
• Ask follow-up questions and build rapport
• Assist patients with completing registration in a fast-paced environment

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service experience
• Ability to type and answer phones
• Comfortable working across multiple computer programs and screens
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• Must pass a drug test prior to hire
• Must pass a background check prior to hire
• Prepared to see illness and injuries in a hospital/lab environment

Demonstrates strong customer service skills while efficiently managing patient registration processes in a hospital environment. Capable of handling multiple computer programs and screens to ensure accurate and timely intake of patient information.
