Careers At VCBO Architecture
OverviewVCBO Architecture is seeking a Senior Architect to lead design and delivery on impactful projects across a range of sectors, including sacred and institutional work. This role is ideal for a design- and technically-strong leader who enjoys guiding teams, shaping project vision, and contributing to a collaborative, design-focused studio culture.
You’ll work with a high level of autonomy, mentor staff, and help advance design quality and best practices across the firm—particularly on projects that require care, continuity, and a deep respect for architectural tradition.
About VCBOVCBO is an award-winning architecture firm based in downtown Salt Lake City. Our work spans education, civic, healthcare, religious, and commercial projects, with a focus on strengthening communities through thoughtful design.
We are especially committed to work that carries long-term cultural and spiritual significance, including sacred architecture rooted in classical principles, craftsmanship, and enduring design values.
We value mentorship, professional growth, and balance, and support a studio culture that’s both design-driven and genuinely human (yes, including a 9/80 option and the occasional office dodgeball game).
