CAD Design Cut-Lister

• Full time (Monday-Friday)
• About the Role:
  
  We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and personable
  
  Cut-lister (Cut-lister is primarily CAD design final check/adjust before production) to support our design and production team. This role is critical to keeping projects accurate, smooth, and on-time. You'll manage multiple jobs at once, communicate with designers and production, and ensure materials and cut lists are correct before work begins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and manage accurate cut lists for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Use KC D (or equivalent design/production software) to review plans, components, and specs.
• Collaborate with multiple designers to clarify details and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify measurements, materials, finishes, hardware, and special notes before processing.
• Maintain clean, organized job documentation and production notes.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with designers, production/shop, and office staff.
• Catch errors before they become expensive problems (This is a big one.)

• Extremely detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Comfortable with juggling multiple designs/projects at the same time.
• Strong communications skills - confident, friendly, and professional.
• KC D experience (preferred) or similar cabinet/closet design software experience.
• Solid computer skills and comfortable learning systems/processes.
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently.

Experience in closet/cabinetry/manufacturing workflow.

• Familiarity with shop processes, ordering materials and hardware.
• Strong problem-solving and "I'll figure it out" energy.
