Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead the design and delivery of impactful projects across a range of sectors. This role is ideal for a design- and technically-strong leader who enjoys guiding teams, shaping project vision, and contributing to a collaborative, studio-driven environment. This position offers a high level of autonomy, the opportunity to mentor staff, and the ability to influence design quality and technical best practices across projects.

Experience in civic and/or historic projects is highly valued.

Responsibilities

+ Lead design vision, technical direction, and documentation for complex architectural projects.

+ Mentor and guide interdisciplinary project teams.

+ Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal team members to align design intent and execution.

+ Oversee quality, consistency, and performance from concept through construction.

+ Represent projects in client presentations, stakeholder meetings, and design discussions.

+ Contribute to broader design and technical initiatives across the organization.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Revit.

+ Experience in architectural design, construction administration, design development, schematic design, and construction documentation.

+ 10+ years of professional architectural experience.

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.

+ Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Licensure preferred.

+ Familiarity with additional design/BIM tools such as Sketch Up is a plus.

+ Experience across multiple project types; civic and/or historic project experience preferred.

+ Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage complex project scopes.

Work Environment

Standard Monday through Friday schedule with a 9/80 work schedule, allowing every other Friday off adjusted to align with holidays for long weekends. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
