Position Overview
The Division of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Utah, University Health Care School of Medicine seeks three board certified/eligible full‑time anatomic pathologists. Candidates may have fellowship training or an interest in women’s health pathology (gynecologic and breast surgical pathology) and/or genitourinary surgical pathology, and board certification in cytopathology is desirable. Other subspecialties may be considered if the applicant’s range of expertise aligns with our needs.
Candidates at the level of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor are encouraged to apply. The chosen individuals will participate in the teaching, clinical service, and research efforts of the academic department.
The Division processes more than 35,000 surgical specimens per year with approximately 35 subspecialized pathologists. Pathologists also serve as medical directors for ARUP Laboratories, a national reference laboratory. Ample opportunities exist for research collaboration with the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
