Retina Ophthalmologist
The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, John
A. Moran Eye Center is actively seeking an ophthalmologist for a retina position. The role includes clinical and surgical care of patients with retinal diseases, with an emphasis on VA training. It may be a full‑time or part‑time faculty position in an academic setting, with ample opportunities for clinical or basic research.
- Provide clinical and surgical care of retinal disease patients with emphasis on visual acuity training.
- Teach and train residents and fellows in the clinic and operating room.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching and scholarly work.
- Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
- Fellowship training in retina.
- Experience in clinical or basic ophthalmic research (preferred).
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
