The University of Utah is seeking to fill a position for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. The role will work closely with five pediatric physiatrists and collaborators in Pediatrics, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and other departments, primarily at the Primary Children’s Hospital Campus in Salt Lake City, UT. Duties include outpatient clinics, procedural opportunities, and optional rotation on the inpatient rehabilitation service.

Leadership, program development, and outreach clinic opportunities may be negotiated. Shared call coverage at the primary campus is expected.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex spasticity.
• Broad base in pediatric rehabilitation.
• Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in pediatric PM&R strongly preferred.
• Significant interest in independent research goals and/or education and teaching.

Primary Children’s Hospital is a 287‑bed, free‑standing Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, owned and operated by Intermountain Health. It serves a six‑state region (Utah, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming, and Alaska) and is the pediatric teaching hospital for the University of Utah School of Medicine. The hospital has over 800 pediatric providers, most employed by the University of Utah and holding faculty positions.
