We are seeking a candidate who is thoroughly prepared to teach full-time in the Lower School’s elementary grades for the school year. The Lower School teacher would teach in a traditional homeroom setting with students leaving the homeroom for specialists in music, science, art, dance, computers, chess, theater and PE.
Competencies and Skills Preferred- 3-5 years teaching experience
- Experience with lesson preparation and curriculum development
- Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with students and families
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively within the school community
- Efficient and hard-working with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high professionalism
- Highly collaborative
